Are you a telecom provider or wireless carrier?
No. My Plan Advisor is an independent consulting service that helps Canadians compare and reduce their telecom bills. We are not a telecom provider, wireless carrier, internet service provider, or broadcaster. We have no ownership, partnership, or affiliate relationship with any company whose plans we review.
How is this audit free? What's the catch?
There is no catch. Our rate audit is always free to consumers. You will never be charged for calling us, receiving a rate comparison, or asking follow-up questions.
Do you receive commissions from providers?
No. We do not receive commissions, referral fees, kickbacks, or financial incentives of any kind from any telecom provider. Our recommendations are based entirely on which plans offer the best value for your usage and budget.
What services do you cover?
We audit internet and broadband plans, cell phone and mobile plans, prepaid phone plans, home phone and VoIP services, and TV packages. Our advisors cover everything in a single call — you don't need to call separately for each service.
What do I need to get started?
Ideally, have a recent bill showing your current plan, monthly cost, and provider. If you don't have one, just knowing roughly what you pay each month and your postal code is enough. Our advisors can look up available providers and current rates in your area with that information.
Will you try to sign me up for something?
No. We present your options and you decide. We do not sign you up for any plan, process any payments, or make changes to your account. If you decide to switch based on our recommendations, you contact the provider directly. We are advisors, not sellers.
Will you call me back or email me afterward?
No. We do not make follow-up calls, send marketing emails, or contact you after your audit in any way — unless you explicitly call us again with a question. One call, your decision, done.
How much can I actually save?
Savings depend on your current plans, location, and usage patterns. On average, Canadians we audit find over $45/month in potential savings across their combined internet, phone, and mobile bills. Some save significantly more, some less — we give you the honest numbers either way.
